About the event: The evening is sponsored by Francesca Lana and it is both a launch event and fundraiser, announcing the collaboration of Co-Founders Francesca Lana and Natalia Faeh Influential Ladies’ Alliance (ILA) with former Miss America Kirsten Haglund’s Kirsten Haglund Foundation (KHF). The goal of the event is to raise awareness of the work of ILA in cultivating female entrepreneurs and philanthropists, and to raise funds for KHF; to provide women around the country access to treatment for eating disorders.
About Francesca Lana: Francesca Lana is an international real estate advisor and the founder and Director of ERA International. She also sits on the advisory board of the Robert F. Agostinelli Foundation, which provides support for American war veterans. She is the President and co-founder of the Influential Ladies’ Alliance and a benefactor of the Kirsten Haglund Foundation along with other numerous charities and non-profit activities.
The event aims to facilitate a conversation among influential leaders about the struggles women face, internally and externally, and how to overcome them. We want to share our personal stories Francesca and Kirsten (who both personally struggled and recovered from eating disorders) and other notable women who have overcome great trials to achieve health, healing, freedom and success in various sectors.
Francesca, Natalia & Kirsten are bringing together an exceptional group of women and men who care about the next generation of young people, to build their health and sense of self-worth and efficacy by healing from their wounds and finding strength in a supportive community. ILA and KHF are partnering to raise funds for treatment, and to provide a transition into the programs offered by ILA so that they not only heal the body and mind, but can go on to build life skills and the gain the tools and support needed to live a productive life.
The goal is to facilitate a conversation about how to empower women through trials into recovery and a supportive community, and raise funds for treatment. Both of us, Francesca and Kirsten, struggled and recovered from eating disorders, and desire to unite other exception and influential women who have overcome trials to achieve success in order to bring a light to this issue and provide hope to those that are struggling.
The Influential Ladies’ AllianceThe Influential Ladies’ Alliance is a young organization founded in March of last year. It is a multinational network of exceptional women whose goal is to build a global community to support and inspire like-minded women everywhere.
Using our unique backgrounds and contacts, we are connecting women across all interests and fields – arts, science, academia, media, philanthropy and business. We are bringing women together in a spirit of collaboration rather than competition, helping not just to build businesses but also helping to build up the women behind them.
The Influential Ladies’ Alliance exists to provide this platform across the globe, and we are so excited to be here tonight to invite the wonderful women of the United States to join us in growing our network.
I have always been a passionate advocate not just of women’s rights but of women’s opportunities and that’s what the Influential Ladies’ Alliance is about – giving women the opportunity to come together to do remarkable things. In my travels around the world, I’m always fascinated by the beautiful diversity of women and how powerful it is when women collaborate.
At the heart of the ILA is a commitment to weaving a rich tapestry of female experience and talent and tapping the untapped potential that exists in so many women. So often what holds women back from achieving their potential, is a lack of support networks.
I’ve always tried to help other women wherever and however I can – so the ILA’s commitment to building a supportive, strategic sisterhood really excites me.
We recently launched the ILA Academy, an educational platform to help
women achieve their personal and professional goals through seminars, lectures and retreats.
